KCET Post-Allotment Reporting Guide 2026

1. Download allotment order — Login after the result window opens. Print the provisional allotment order (PDF) and keep a digital copy.
2. Pay KEA counseling / seat fee — Complete online payment within the deadline printed on the order. Late payment usually forfeits the seat.
3. Report to allotted college — Carry allotment order, fee receipt, original documents, photos, and ID proofs. Get a joining acknowledgement.
4. Choosing Round 2 upgrade instead — If you want a better choice later, do not report/join the Round 1 college (follow KEA’s current-round rules). Participate when Round 2 option entry opens (~Aug 21).
5. No allotment in Round 1 — You remain eligible for Round 2/3 as long as KEA shows you as a counseling candidate. Rebuild a wider list using mock + Round 1 cutoffs.
6. JoSAA parallel counseling — IIT/NIT seats are separate. Accept only one final seat. See JoSAA vs KCET.
